The Dialogy.Org system allows users to search texts (transcripts), watch video recordings and view F0 acoustic wave forms.
The Dialogy.Org system works on the principle of web-based interface, so installation of additional programs on your computer is not necessary.
The User's Guide to the Dialogy.Org Search Engine is here.
The Dialogy.Org system was developed by Nino Peterek from the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics at the Charles University Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.
Because, for example, the Czech National Corpus uses the Manatee/Bonito system, the Bonito corpus manager may already be installed on your computer. If so, simply open the program and type the following information in the sign-in window:
Server address: bonito.ujc.dialogy.cz
User name: (Your user name)
Password: (Your password)
The manual for the Manatee/Bonito system is here.
If you do not have the Bonito corpus manager on your computer, you can download it from the internet (from either the Czech National Corpus or TextForge sites).
Many thanks to Pavel Rychlý, the creator of the Manatee/Bonito corpus manager from the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University in Brno, for giving us access to his program.
